Standing Committees
|
|
The board of directors has established the above standing committees; the scopes of which encompass the basic activities and responsibilities of the HOA. The board encourages widespread community participation in its committees, including renters. Note that committees work closely with the management firm and rely on the agent for information and the formal solicitation of any contractual bids.

Other Committees
Temporary subcommittees have been established from time to time when deemed
necessary by the board to address specific and unique situations. For
example, subcommittees have been established to analyze the assignment of
parking spaces when questions have arisen, as well as to assist in the
production of an HOA Master Plan for the community in 1993, which identified
numerous improvements that Springfield Oaks could undertake over the next 20
years.
The addition of street lighting in 1994 and the construction of new visitor
parking in 1996 represent two major recommendations of the Master Plan that
have been implemented. For a copy of the Master Plan, please contact the
HOA management agent, the board president, or another appropriate party
listed in the directory.
Please consult the directory to learn who chairs these committees.
